Okay FINE yes I made Rochelle because I just really, really, REALLY wanted to give Nova a future girlfriend. It’s precisely for that reason that I struggled pinning down Rochelle’s lore… all I knew was that she was definitely British lmao.

I like playing up the fact that Nova’s parents are Ford and Bill because COME ON. IS that not fucking hilarious??? Is the mere concept of it not even a little bit funny??? Does it not produce a giggle??? I wanted to be silly about it so I conjured up this classic little “meet your date’s parents” situation, except it can never be normal because Nova is not allowed to ever have anything normally.

Also I hope you like my Bill design for this comic because I think he looks lowkey really cunty.
